This past Friday marked 25 years since the series premiere of Smallville, and to celebrate, well-regarded industry magazine Variety spoke with the show’s two male leads, Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, to discuss the milestone.
You can read the full piece at Variety — they deserve the credit for it! — where they talk about what has made the show endure, what it was like for Michael to come back for the series finale, what Tom wore in that final moment, and more. Michael also discusses his decision to depart the show after Season 7.
But also… there was some reboot talk as you can see in the Instagram reel seen below! Who would be the Smallville actor most likely to say “yes” to a reboot, and where do Tom and Michael fall? Check it out below. Side note: Al, Miles, Tom, Michael… if you want a reboot concept that wouldn’t require 8 15-hour days for your leads, call me!
