Salute to Smallville 25th Anniversary Convention: The Schedule!

This weekend (November 7-8, 2026) Creation Entertainment is presenting the 25th Anniversary Salute to Smallville convention! Yes, it’s been 25 years since the show first aired in 2001, and what better way to celebrate than with the people who made the show happen?

Celebrity guests this year include series regulars Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance, Sam Jones III, Eric Johnson, Laura Vandervoort, Aaron Ashmore, John Glover, and Cassidy Freeman alongside such beloved guests as Phil Morris, Helen Slater, Adrianne Palicki, Serinda Swan, and Erica Cerra, and if that’s not enough… Smallville creators Alfred Gough & Miles Millar will be making their first Smallville-related convention appearance in nearly 20 years! KryptonSite’s Craig Byrne (that’s me!) and The House of El’s Derek Russell will be emceeing the event, so be sure to say hi to both of us as we always hold on to Smallville... even 25 years later.

Below, you’ll find a schedule for the event (accurate as of 2PM ET on Friday, November 6). Keep in mind the schedule could always change and your best bet to be made aware of any updates is to consult the Creation app which you can download by scanning a QR code here. On Creation’s schedule, you can also find out when photo ops are happening and more!

10:45AM Sam Jones III (Pete Ross)

“Damn! Who’s that?” Sam Jones III returns for his second Salute to Smallville! Learn how the actor who played Pete “The Boss” Ross became the Core King and reminisce about 25 years of Smallville!

11:30AM Cassidy Freeman (Tess)

Making her first appearance at one of our shows… the legendary “Tess Mercer” herself, Cassidy Freeman! Cassidy as Tess was a fan favorite in those final seasons of the show, with an incredible journey taken over those last three seasons. You’ve probably also seen her in such shows as Longmire and The Righteous Gemstones!

12:15PM Supergirls: Laura Vandervoort, Adrianne Palicki & Helen Slater

In 1984, Helen Slater was the first-ever live action Maid of Might/Kara Zor-El in the 1984 Supergirl film. Nearly twenty years later, Adrianne Palicki played Smallville’s first “Kara” in the memorable third season finale. In Season 7, Laura Vandervoort made her series regular debut as the actual Kara in a season that also brought back Helen Slater to this world… playing Clark’s Kryptonian mother, Lara-El! Now it’s 2026 and these three super women are together in a panel that is sure to be memorable.

1:00PM Yes/No Trivia

Creation’s annual yes/no trivia game with prizes for the audience! How well do you think you know Smallville? Let’s find out!

1:45PM Phil Morris (John Jones)

Phil Morris’ career goes back to his childhood where he’d appear on series such as Star Trek. He’s part of an acting family that has included a Mission: Impossible icon (Phil himself was on the late-1980s revival!) and Storm of the X-Men (Really! Phil’s sister Iona was the voice of Storm for the first season of X-Men: The Animated Series!) He was the infamous “Jackie Chiles” on Seinfeld but of course, Smallville fans know him best for his memorable turn as John Jones, the Martian Manhunter beginning in Season 6. Did we mention he’s also voiced many DC Comics characters in animation, including Vandal Savage, Green Arrow, Hawkman and Jimmy Olsen and that he was Cyborg Victor Stone’s father on Doom Patrol? It’s his first Salute to Smallville and he’s sure to have some great and insightful stories to share!

2:30PM Smallville Fandom: A Look Back

Every fandom has a beginning… and Craig Byrne and Derek Russell were there from the early days. Join them for a discussion about what it was like to watch Smallville in the year 2001, and how fandom has changed in the decades since.

3:15PM Cosplay Contest

Show us your favorite Smallville cosplay to win prizes! Just be in the audience at 3:15PM to celebrate.

4:00PM Michael Rosenbaum & John Glover

Seeing Michael Rosenbaum and John Glover acting opposite each other as Lex and Lionel Luthor was a highlight of watching Smallville. The games they would play, the conquerors they would reference… all between two such talented actors. Now, father and son reunite on stage once again, except this time, they both have their hair!

8:00PM Smallville Nights with Michael Rosenbaum & Tom Welling (SPECIAL EVENT – MUST BUY TICKETS)

It doesn’t come as a part of the regular Creation package, but tickets can be bought for yet another Smallville Nights event featuring Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, where they re-enact Smallville scenes, spend time with their audience, and generally have a fun time in a more personal setting. These events sometimes have some surprise guests, as well! Tickets for Smallville Nights can be purchased here under “Special Event Tickets.”

Series regular Laura Vandervoort is joined by memorable guests Erica Cerra, Helen Slater, and Adrianne Palicki for a discussion about the Smallville experience from the ladies’ perspective!

11:45AM Serinda Swan (Zatanna)

Etarbelec! Serinda Swan is making her first convention appearance! Serinda is most known to Smallville fans for her role as the magical Zatanna, and her performance was so good, no one else has played the role in live action ever since! Yub reh ohotp spo!

12:30PM Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy Olsen)

Yes, he played Jimmy Olsen so that’s where we’re going with this. Aaron Ashmore returns to Salute to Smallville for the first time since our debut show, just in time for the anniversary! Talk to him about Smallville, Ginny & Georgia, SkyMed, Veronica Mars or anything you’d like… just don’t confuse him with his brother (do your research first!) Aaron is an extremely nice guy and it’s great to have him back!

1:15PM Smallville Creators Alfred Gough & Miles Millar

Creation Entertainment co-founder Adam Malin speaks with Smallville creators Alfred Gough & Miles Millar about 25 years of Smallville and the many highs their career has had since, including Wednesday, The Shannara Chronicles, and arguably the best live-action Spider-Man movie (Spider-Man 2!) Without these guys there would never have been a Smallville as we know it, so the fandom owes the two of them a lot.

2PM Intermission

2:15PM No-Minimum Bid Auction

3:00PM Tom Welling & Erica Durance (Clark & Lois)

Yes, it’s time for another “Clois” panel – Tom Welling and Erica Durance reunite on stage once again to talk about their 7 year journey of working together & everything that has come since! This will certainly be one of the highlights of this year’s show, and we can’t wait to see what kind of reflections they come up with.

4:00PM Kristin Kreuk & Eric Johnson (Lana & Whitney)

Eric Johnson may have played Whitney, a guy who was sometimes a jerk in Smallville Season 1, but anyone who may have met him at last year’s show saw he’s actually one of the nicest people. Kristin Kreuk, of course, played Lana, as in “what’s going on with you and Lana!” Join these two in remembering those early days of the show from 25 years ago.

As previously mentioned, the guest list, schedule for autographs and photo ops, and admission passes can still be found at creationent.com/smallville. We hope you can make it – be sure to say hi if you do!
