And The Superman & Lois Series Finale Director Is…

KryptonSite has learned that the Superman & Lois series finale will be directed by Gregory Smith.

Filming for the series finale of Superman & Lois is getting very close, and KryptonSite has learned that Gregory Smith will be directing the final episode. Smith is one of the show’s most prolific directors, helming such popular episodes as “A Brief Remembrance In Between Cataclysmic Events,” “What Lies Beneath,” “Waiting For Superman,” “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner,” “What Kills You Only Makes You Stronger,” among others. He is also the director of the Season 4 premiere “The End & The Beginning” when the show returns this Fall.

Season 4 wraps on April 22, and learning this would confirm that – unless episodes are shot out of sequence – Michael Cudlitz directed Episode 408 and Jai Jamison is probably currently shooting Episode 409. Superman & Lois Season 4 will consist of only 10 episodes.

Earlier, KryptonSite posted details on who several of the Superman & Lois Season 4 directors would be… now, we have details on two of the final episodes of the series.

Vancouver production listings have revealed Michael Cudlitz as directing for Season 4; we are assuming his episode is the season’s seventh or eighth. The director slot after him will be filled by Jai Jamison. Cudlitz, of course, stars as Lex Luthor on the show, and Jai has written several well-liked episodes of the series.

It’s quite possible those are Episodes 8 and 9 as filming is said to wrap on April 22. The final season of Superman & Lois will comprise of 10 episodes, premiering this Fall on The CW.
