A Teen Choice Award For Allison Mack! We

Who
was it? None other than Chloe Sullivan herself, Allison Mack,

New Aaron Ashmore Interviews Posted Online Two
more interviews with Aaron Ashmore talking about his new
Smallville role have now been posted online.
And
While We're On The Subject Of Aaron Ashmore... A
few weeks ago, in our exclusive
Aaron Ashmore interview, Aaron talked about a film he was
recently working on, titled Palo Alto. The movie also stars
Ryan Hansen, "Dick Casablancas" of Veronica Marsfame.
The
producers of Palo Alto have sent us a link to the film's
website, which may include some behind-the-scenes photos of Aaron:
Episode
#6-2 "Sneeze" Guest! Playing
the role of Orlando Bloom -- err, Block in Season 6's second episode,
"Sneeze," is Lochlyn Munro. You may recognize
Munro from his roles in Charmed, Scary Movie, or Freddy
vs. Jason.
Erica

Durance (Lois Lane) will be joining former Smallville supervising
producer Jeph Loeb at the Wizard World convention in Chicago,

The
Fund is in the memory of Sam Loeb, a very talented young man (and
son of Jeph) who passed away last year.

Justin
Hartley Talks About Playing Smallville's "Green Arrow"
IGN.com has posted an all-new interview will Justin Hartley,
who will be playing Green Arrow in Smallville Season
Six.
In
the interview, Justin reveals some more details on his version
of the character and also reveals his feelings on the idea of
reviving the Aquaman
project.
Erica
Durance Thinks "Clois" Can Wait Today's
TV Guide Insider at TVGuide.com
has some interview quotes from Erica Durance (Lois Lane).
In
the article, Erica talks about why it might not be a good idea
to go too fast with a romantic Clark and Lois relationship.
"Watching
characters dance around each other and bait each other and not
quite fall into sentimental love is interesting for me to see,"
she says. "What is also interesting for me to see is these
two fighting with each other and finding out why they love each
other."
Aquaman
Pilot: #1 TV Show Video On iTunes!!! Customers
of iTunes are heavily downloading the pilot episode to the Aquaman
TV series by Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles
Millar.
Aquaman
crept up the charts of the most downloaded TV show videos on iTunes,
and at last glance, hit the #1 spot. Not bad for a pilot that
the CW decided not to go forward with as a series! Fan reaction
at places like the KryptonSite/AquamanTV
Forum has been favorable, and word of mouth should keep A.C.
at the #1 spot for a few more days.
Smallville
Season 5 DVD Back Cover Art! Warner

Complete Fifth Season DVD set which hits stores in September.
Seattle
Times Article Compares The Supermen
Julia Waterhous of the Seattle Times has written an article for
the paper where she compares the recent Superman Returns
to Smallville, with a preference going to the TV version
of the Man of Steel.
Here's
a sampling:
If the
grown-up Clark Kent's lover is Lois Lane, what on earth will happen
to Lana? And the Lois of "Smallville" is so hard-headed
and stubborn that Clark finds her downright obnoxious so
how and when, exactly, do they turn into lovers? Plus, although
Clark and Lex Luthor aren't exactly getting along, they don't
hate each other. What's going to happen that's so drastic it would
turn them into arch-enemies?
Smallville-Related Happenings At The Comic-Con International
in San Diego!
Although there is no Smallville panel scheduled for the
Comic-Con International in San Diego, which begins today and runs
through July 23, there are a few items of interest that fans of
the show may enjoy:
Paul
Wesley (formerly "Wasilewski") played Lucas Luthor
in the Season Two Smallville episode "Prodigal."
Now he's in a new ABC Family movie called Fallen. Not
only is Fallen being heavily promoted at Comic-Con, but
there's also a Fallen panel and autograph signing featuring
Paul scheduled for Saturday. (Booth 3817)
Former
Smallville supervising producer Jeph Loeb and former
Smallville/Aquaman director Greg Beeman are both
involved in a new NBC program called Heroes,
where seemingly unconnected people across the world begin having
super abilities of their own. There's a Heroes booth
where they will be giving out collectible buttons and an exclusive
Tim Sale comic book, and then on Friday afternoon at 12:30,
there will be an exclusive screening of a 72-minute cut of the
Heroes pilot! Plus: What is
9thWonders? (Booth 3912; screening in Room 6CDEF)
Jeph
Loeb is also on a panel on Saturday presented by TV Guide,
where he, along with such TV luminaries as David Goyer,
Jennifer Love Hewitt, Bryan Fuller, and Frank Spotnitz discuss
current sci-fi/fantasy television series. (3:30 Saturday
in Room 20)
A
"Superman Through The Ages" DVD panel hosted
by Warner Home Video has some guests from the classic movies,
and promises guests from various Superman TV series, but we
haven't heard any kind of confirmation as to if anyone from
Smallville will be attending. (1:00 Friday in Room 20)
The
DK Publishing booth has a preview copy of Smallville:
The Visual Guide, written by KryptonSite's own Craig
Byrne! Take a look at it at Booth 5449 - and tell them you heard
about it at KryptonSite! There's also a DK panel on Thursday
at 2PM in Room 1B; in case you want to ask them about the Guide
and show your support!

Aaron
Ashmore Joins The Cast Of Smallville TV
Guide's Michael Ausiello has revealed that Aaron Ashmore,
possibly best known for playing "Troy Vandegraff"
on Veronica Mars, will be joining the cast of Smallville
in a very important new role - so important that, at least
for now, we're not posting it on this main page because it's a
big SPOILER!
Aaron's twin brother Shawn appeared on Smallville in Season
One as Eric Summers in the episode "Leech." Interestingly,
Shawn was at one time seriously rumored to be playing this very
same role in Superman Returns.
