It looks like we won’t be hearing complaints of “Still Not Ginger!” this time as The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that 27-year-old Skyler Gisondo has landed the role of Jimmy Olsen in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman: Legacy film.
Skyler already has a tie to Superman-related actors as his character’s mother on The Righteous Gemstones is played by Cassidy Freeman, “Tess Mercer” from the later seasons of Smallville.
Superman: Legacy has characters from all over the DC Universe, but it’s the iconic Superman characters that have brought us the most excitement so far. James Gunn is directing the film which is aiming for a July 11, 2025 premiere. David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult star as Superman, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor, respectively.
