James Gunn’s Superman hits theaters on July 11, and a new trailer released today finally gives us more Lois Lane and Lex Luthor… as well as some spoilers revealing who knows what and who might still be alive in the Superman tale in the present day. It’s our best look at the new film yet, and frankly, the initial reaction is “now THIS is a Superman movie!” Lois Lane is asking hard questions, Superman puts the safety of the world and its people above anything else… at least to this writer, it accomplished everything that makes Superman the hero that he is.
Superman stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and a stacked cast that also includes such names as Wendell Pierce, Edi Gathegi, and Nathan Fillion.
