To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Superman Returns, Legends of Tomorrow star and one-time Clark Kent himself Brandon Routh did a special AMA on Reddit, where among other things, he expressed his interest in meeting TV’s new Man of Steel, Tyler Hoechlin, on Supergirl.
During the AMA, Routh expressed his interest in “completing the trifecta” by guest starring on Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl… and when asked about Hoechlin, here’s what he had to say:
“I wish him the best and hope to meet him if Ray gets to crossover to Supergirl! :)”
Ten years on, Routh also seems to be very gracious for his chance to play Superman. “Superman has had a tremendously positive effect on my life and I’m so grateful for it,” he said.

While I think Superman Returns was a decent but not great movie I had NOOOOOO problem with Routh in it, in fact he made a great Superman. It would be great to see him meet the new one

Having Brandon Routh’s Ray meet Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman would be AWESOME!! that definitely has to happen, and there would have to be some sort of cheeky meta joke in there somewhere.
