Supergirl’s David Harewood Discusses Tonight’s Musical Crossover

David Harewood is one of four Supergirl cast members appearing on The Flash tonight (March 21), with the others being Chris Wood, Jeremy Jordan, and, of course, Melissa Benoist. For Benoist and Flash star Grant Gustin, it’s a bit of a GLEE reunion, especially as that show’s Darren Criss – fresh from his appearance in last night’s Supergirl – also makes an appearance.

At the red carpet for the “Heroes & Aliens” PaleyFest panel hosted by the Paley Center for Media, we asked Harewood briefly about what it was like to do the episode.

“It was a lot of fun,” he said. “I enjoyed Grant very much, and I think J’Onn had a twinkle in his eye when he saw Iris, but she’s already taken. But it was fun to do.”

“Duet” is the title of the episode, and J’Onn certainly has some fun things to do in the episode, especially when it comes to how Team Flash responds to his natural form. The episode airs at 8PM ET/PT March 21 on The CW.
