Supergirl Season 2 Finale Date: May 22

The CW has announced an air date for the second season finale of Supergirl.

The episode should be a bit of a big deal as Tyler Hoechlin returns as Kara’s cousin Superman. He’s not the only one making a return, though — Calista Flockhart (yes, Cat Grant!) is returning as well. We’re still predicting that her return will have her selling CatCo to Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath), setting the stage for McGrath’s promotion to series regular for Season 3.

Kara is expected to have some “unexpected alliances” in defeating Queen Rhea & company… could it be Cadmus? Could Jeremiah Danvers have something to do with it, giving us the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman reunion we’ve been waiting 20 years for? Has it really been 20 years since the end of Lois & Clark?

(Spoiler warning: yes, it has been 20 years. We’re old.)
