Calista Flockhart’s Supergirl Return Is Happening

Ladies and gentlemen, the queen of CatCo is making her return!

Hot on the heels of the news that Tyler Hoechlin is returning as Superman in the Supergirl Season 2 finale comes news that another fan favorite is making her way back to National City — Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Calista Flockhart, better known to Supergirl fans as Cat Grant, is coming back for the final two episodes of Supergirl Season 2!

The episodes will air on May 15 and May 22, respectively.

Should we start to take bets that Cat will be selling her company to Lena Luthor, setting the stage for Katie McGrath’s new status as series regular for Supergirl Season 3? Can we have that Teri Hatcher vs. Calista Flockhart battle we’ve wanted ever since Lois & Clark and Ally McBeal were on the air? Guess we’ll have to watch and see… in any event, it is great news that our Queen is returning.
