Supergirl “Distant Sun” Trailer & Screencaps

A generation’s favorite “Wonder Woman” Lynda Carter returns in the March 27 episode of Supergirl which happens to be directed by Kevin Smith!

The episode is called “Distant Sun” and while we don’t have any official photos yet, we do have some screen captures from the episode’s trailer courtesy of Mr. Video… and now we have a trailer, too! Granted, this trailer doesn’t have Lynda Carter in it, but it does have some Kara vs. Mon-El action, some Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo, and some aliens “from the mind of director Kevin Smith!” And, dang, does Mon-El (Chris Wood) get smacked around more than once next week!

The trailer can be found below, and the screencaps and other extras can be found beneath that.

Here’s a description… and if you want to talk about “Star-Crossed” with other fans, visit our forum! Don’t forget Kara and some of her other Super-friends appear on Tuesday night’s musical episode of The Flash, and if you like these screencaps please just link to KryptonSite’s post rather than reposting elsewhere. Thanks!

LYNDA CARTER RETURNS AS PRESIDENT MARSDIN; KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS – A large bounty is put out on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and aliens from far and near attack National City intent on taking out the woman of steel. Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) run into Maggie’s ex-girlfriend, Emily (guest star Hayley Sales), who is in town for a week. Hank (David Harewood) gets an interesting order from President Marsdin (guest star Lynda Carter). Kevin Smith directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#217). Original airdate 3/27/2017.
