Supergirl Returns Tonight!

Supergirl returns with new episodes at a new later hour – 9PM ET/PT – tonight on The CW!

Yes, Supergirl is moving a little later to make way for The CW’s new Batwoman show, to make a World’s Finest night of television. You can read more about Batwoman at our website for the show, BatwomanTV.com.

The Supergirl season premiere is called “Event Horizon” and a description and preview images for the episode can be found below. A forum is already set up for discussion of tonight’s episode – we’d love to have you join us! – and we’ve also got a preview clip which you can find under the gallery, in which Kara fights a dinosaur in a library! If the librarian sounds like Velma from Scooby Doo, there’s a reason for that.

And hey… Kara gets a new costume tonight, and we meet some new characters including Andrea Rojas as played by Julie Gonzalo! Enjoy!

SEASON PREMIERE – Kara (Melissa Benoist) is surprised to find that CatCo has a new owner who has brought in a star reporter. New couples emerge and explore their budding relationships while J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood) receives an unexpected visitor. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Derek Simon & Nicki Holcomb. Original airdate 10/6/2019.
