Lois & Clark: The Complete Series is Coming to Blu-ray in July!

Blu-ray.com is noting that Lois & Clark: The Complete Series will be coming to Blu-ray for the first time on July 8! Perfectly scheduled to come out three days before the new Superman movie is released, this is a great show that can be enjoyed by many! Unfortunately for us die-hard fans, though, it might be possible that the set might have the same music replacements that we’ve seen on the “remastered” streaming editions, so be warned you might not get your “I Am Superman/Tempus Anyone” mix, for example. This 20-disc set is a good reason to hold on to the DVD sets if you still have them!

No word on bonus features yet – it’s possible they might include several extras from the box sets that came out 20 years ago – and there is also no pre-order link available at the time this is being written. But still – we cannot stress this enough – this show is fantastic and was a great “entrance drug” for new Superman fans and fandom 30 years ago. Heck, without Lois & Clark there will be no KryptonSite!

Here’s the description as posted on Blu-ray.com:

Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher star in this fan-favorite romantic action/adventure series with comedic overtones, which gave the time-honored, legendary superhero a ’90s twist over the course of four seasons on ABC TV. With clever writing, and strong performances from the cast, the comic book characters of Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane were brought to life with entertaining exploits in 87 episodes. What begins as the most unrequited love affair of all time becomes the most unpredictable of all romantic relationships. Newly remastered in High-Definition for its Blu-ray debut, Lois & Clark look better than ever!
