It Looks Like Cat Grant Is In Supergirl Season 3

A new trailer promoting the four DC Comics shows making up The CW’s “Super Season” this Fall includes several never-before-seen clips from Supergirl Season 3, including an appearance by Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant!

Calista left the show as a series regular when production moved to Vancouver after Supergirl Season 1; she still remained with the show on a recurring basis and appeared in four episodes of the show’s second season. However, usually when Calista had returned to Supergirl there would be a big announcement, and there was none that we were aware of this time, so it’s a bit of a surprise.

It looks like we are seeing Cat’s new calling in life… now the question is, is she the world’s new Sean Spicer… or does that podium imply she’s taking over from Wonder Woman… err, Lynda Carter as President of the United States?

This new trailer from The CW features several clips from Supergirl Season 3, including some shots of Floriana Lima, who, like Flockhart, will now only be on Supergirl on a recurring basis. Fans of the “Sanvers” ship will surely be happy to see her and Chyler Leigh in several scenes together in this promo, which you can see below.
