Superman & Lois Spoilers: What’s Coming Up?

Superman & Lois spoilers with titles for upcoming episodes of Season 1 of the CW television series

Published

on

There are four episodes left in the first season of Superman & Lois, and in the absence of a full Superman & Lois spoilers page here at KryptonSite, we’ve compiled what is coming up for those four remaining episodes. Sadly, we do have some repeats coming up so that the four stories can be spread over the next seven weeks leading to the Superman & Lois season finale on Tuesday, August 17.

So what have we got coming up, and what do we know? Let’s see….

Episode 12 “Through The Valley of Death”

Air Date: July 13, 2021
Directed By: Alexandra La Roche

We’re still a few weeks away from the next episode of Superman & Lois, though we do have a trailer already. Obviously, this will pick up the cliffhangers left at the end of the previous episode. It’s said that David Ramsey guest stars as John Diggle in the one and only real Arrowverse crossover for S&L Season 1. This is also likely to feature the return of Wolé Parks as John Henry Irons as Lois phoned him at the end of the previous episode.

We think but cannot 100% confirm that frequent Arrowverse director Alexandra La Roche is directing this one. We’ll know more when we have an official description for the episode.

Episode 13 “Fail Safe”

Unconfirmed Air Date: July 20, 2021

Episode 14 “The Eradicator”

Unconfirmed Air Date: August 10, 2021

UPDATE 7/1: KryptonSite has learned the title for this episode!

Episode 15 “Last Sons of Krypton” (Season Finale)

Air Date: August 17, 2021
Story By: Kristi Korzec & Michael Narducci
Teleplay By: Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing
Directed By: Tom Cavanagh

Tom Cavanagh of The Flash fame is the director for this episode.

Set photos that we assume are from the finale show John Henry Irons in a much shinier version of his Steel suit, though the helmet still more resembles the “Halo/Master Chief” look seen earlier in the season.

These breaks are so dumb. Killing the ratings for the show. There’s enough post-production time to air them along with the remaining Flash episodes!

on

The CW has announced their Fall 2024 schedule which will see the 10-episode final season of Superman & Lois on a new night.

The new destination for the Lane-Kent family will be Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT where it will be paired with a new version of The Librarians called The Librarians: The Next Chapter.

Season 4 will star Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane, Alex Garfin as Jordan, Michael Bishop as Jonathan, and Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor. The other members of the supporting cast who are no longer series regulars will be back for guest appearances in Season 4. The network has not yet released an official description, new photos, a set premiere date, or a trailer for Season 4, but we can assume those things are coming with time. Flash Cast Member To Appear In The Superman & Lois Finale

An actor from The Flash has announced that he has a role in the Superman & Lois series finale.

Published

on

The Flash’s Tom Cavanagh is not finished appearing in the Arrowverse (or Arrowverse-adjacent) shows, as he revealed this weekend at the FAN EXPO Philadelphia event on May 4 that he will be playing a role in the Superman & Lois series finale.

In the panel, Cavanagh explained how he preferred directing premieres or finales and had long grown a trust with showrunner Todd Helbing that he could always deliver, dating back to The Flash’s 100th episode which he directed. Since the Superman & Lois Season 4 finale is being directed by Gregory Smith, Cavanagh wasn’t able to do the finale this year, but instead, Helbing suggested that he appears in front of the camera.

“The finale for ‘Superman & Lois’ was taken up already, and so I said, ‘Well, I’m happy to not do it,’ which is when Todd was like ‘Well, would you play a role?’ And so that’s coming up, for those of you that watch ‘Superman & Lois’ — something that I’m happy to have done,” Cavanagh explained at the panel.

The question now, of course, is who will Tom Cavanagh be playing? Harrison Wells or a variation of him? Eobard Thawne? Or, could it be someone entirely new… after all, Superman & Lois is not set in the same part of the multiverse. Or, he said “a role” – could it be something behind the scenes, and that to assume it’s an acting role could be a jump to conclusions. Either way, chances are good we won’t find out for sure until Superman & Lois Season 4 starts airing this Fall on The CW. For now, though, it might be fun to speculate. Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch has been reflecting on her time as Lois and has guided fandom through her experience all throughout, and this morning, she posted about her gratitude to have been able to embody an icon like Lois. She also took the time to welcome and encourage Rachel Brosnahan who will be our next Lois Lane in James Gunn’s Superman movie which comes out in 2025.

Here’s what she wrote:

How lucky am I, to have been able to inhabit this woman’s bones, and brain, and heart, for the last 4 years.

Lois Lane has been an icon for as long as Superman has because of her fierceness, her work ethic, her determination, her playfulness, her commitment to finding the truth no matter the cost.

Thank you to our creator Todd Helbing, co-showrunner Brent Fletcher, all of our writers and producers and post-production team, our incredible VFX department. Thank you @gberlanti and Sarah Schechter @50shadesofgabay and everyone else at Berlanti Productions, everyone at DC Comics, @cdflix @baptv10, Lisa Lewis and everyone else at @warnerbrostv , Mark Pedowitz and @thecw, and to our phenomenal casting director @davidrapaport for telling everyone “This is your Lois” and to @jessicaqueller and @rrtvwriter for seeing and believing it. I already miss you all so much.

Thank you to our wonderfully amazing cast – but mostly to @tylerhoechlin. My Superman. I am so grateful for your talent, your work ethic, and your commitment to making me laugh. I wish the best of luck to @jamesgunn and the rest of his cast and crew, and especially to @rachelbrosnahan – I’m sure you will be a wonderful Lois and I can’t wait to see what you do with the role. Have so much fun – I know I did.
