Superman & Lois Crew Member Injured In Hit-And-Run; The SuperFam Can Help

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched for Superman & Lois First Aid Attendant Tara McAteer who was injured by a hit-and-run driver.

Tara McAteer, the First Aid Attendant for Superman & Lois, could use some Super-help and fans can help make that happen.

Sadly, she was involved in a very serious hit and run accident while riding her bicycle last week, and crew members and friends from Superman & Lois have launched a GoFundMe to raise money to help her with her immediate needs, including a scooter that could help her get around.

This is where the SuperFam comes in: Their goal is $10,000. We can help put them over the goal, right? This is where you can donate. More details (directly from the GoFundMe page) can be found below, as written by Steve Ellis, but again, donate if you can.

Everyday on set when I see Tara our first aid attendant I always ask her if she was busy today and when she says “No” I say “good”. For those that didn’t hear Tara was involved in a very serious hit and run accident and almost killed while on her bicycle riding to set Wednesday March 17th. Whenever one of us has an accident at work and needs medical attention Tara is always the first one we turn to. Now she really needs our help.

Tara won’t be able to even attempt to walk again till sometime in July so we need to raise money to buy her a scooter so she can regain some mobility in her life on the long road to recovery. Tara is far too proud to ask for our help, so we are doing this for her because it’s the right thing to do. Although her immediate needs are a scooter, there are going to be ongoing needs that hopefully none of us have to ever endure. Let’s come together and surpass the goal so we can make sure that Tara doesn’t have to go without during this difficult time. We are all part of this great film family, let’s show our love and support for this great person who we all rely on!

The CW has announced their Fall 2024 schedule which will see the 10-episode final season of Superman & Lois on a new night.

The new destination for the Lane-Kent family will be Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT where it will be paired with a new version of The Librarians called The Librarians: The Next Chapter.

Season 4 will star Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane, Alex Garfin as Jordan, Michael Bishop as Jonathan, and Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor. The other members of the supporting cast who are no longer series regulars will be back for guest appearances in Season 4. The network has not yet released an official description, new photos, a set premiere date, or a trailer for Season 4, but we can assume those things are coming with time. Flash Cast Member To Appear In The Superman & Lois Finale

An actor from The Flash has announced that he has a role in the Superman & Lois series finale.

Published

The Flash’s Tom Cavanagh is not finished appearing in the Arrowverse (or Arrowverse-adjacent) shows, as he revealed this weekend at the FAN EXPO Philadelphia event on May 4 that he will be playing a role in the Superman & Lois series finale.

In the panel, Cavanagh explained how he preferred directing premieres or finales and had long grown a trust with showrunner Todd Helbing that he could always deliver, dating back to The Flash’s 100th episode which he directed. Since the Superman & Lois Season 4 finale is being directed by Gregory Smith, Cavanagh wasn’t able to do the finale this year, but instead, Helbing suggested that he appears in front of the camera.

“The finale for ‘Superman & Lois’ was taken up already, and so I said, ‘Well, I’m happy to not do it,’ which is when Todd was like ‘Well, would you play a role?’ And so that’s coming up, for those of you that watch ‘Superman & Lois’ — something that I’m happy to have done,” Cavanagh explained at the panel.

The question now, of course, is who will Tom Cavanagh be playing? Harrison Wells or a variation of him? Eobard Thawne? Or, could it be someone entirely new… after all, Superman & Lois is not set in the same part of the multiverse. Or, he said “a role” – could it be something behind the scenes, and that to assume it’s an acting role could be a jump to conclusions. Either way, chances are good we won’t find out for sure until Superman & Lois Season 4 starts airing this Fall on The CW. For now, though, it might be fun to speculate. She also took the time to welcome and encourage Rachel Brosnahan who will be our next Lois Lane in James Gunn’s Superman movie which comes out in 2025.

Here’s what she wrote:

How lucky am I, to have been able to inhabit this woman’s bones, and brain, and heart, for the last 4 years.

Lois Lane has been an icon for as long as Superman has because of her fierceness, her work ethic, her determination, her playfulness, her commitment to finding the truth no matter the cost.

Thank you to our creator Todd Helbing, co-showrunner Brent Fletcher, all of our writers and producers and post-production team, our incredible VFX department. Thank you @gberlanti and Sarah Schechter @50shadesofgabay and everyone else at Berlanti Productions, everyone at DC Comics, @cdflix @baptv10, Lisa Lewis and everyone else at @warnerbrostv , Mark Pedowitz and @thecw, and to our phenomenal casting director @davidrapaport for telling everyone “This is your Lois” and to @jessicaqueller and @rrtvwriter for seeing and believing it. Thank you to our wonderfully amazing cast – but mostly to @tylerhoechlin. My Superman. I am so grateful for your talent, your work ethic, and your commitment to making me laugh. I wish the best of luck to @jamesgunn and the rest of his cast and crew, and especially to @rachelbrosnahan – I’m sure you will be a wonderful Lois and I can’t wait to see what you do with the role. Have so much fun – I know I did.
