Supergirl: Overnight Ratings For The Season Finale Tick Up

Overnight ratings report for the Supergirl Season 2 finale, titled “Nevertheless, She Persisted”

The initial overnight ratings for the Supergirl season finale are in, and as expected, things ticked up a little bit over the previous week.

The final numbers can and will go up even more once DVR and other things are factored in, but the first numbers to come in see Supergirl at 2.14 million viewers and an 0.6/3 in the demo. People clearly wanted to see how the season would end, and big-name guest stars including Teri Hatcher, Calista Flockhart, and Tyler Hoechlin couldn’t have hurt matters.

(Can we keep Calista longer, please? And on that note… why no Teri Hatcher/Dean Cain interaction? Jeremiah being part of taking Rhea down would have been awesome for this Lois & Clark fan.)

Season 2 of Supergirl should be on Netflix next week sometime, for those of you who may have missed it. If you watched “Nevertheless, She Persisted” and want to talk about it with other fans, fly to our Supergirl forum!

The overnight ratings for the first showing of Krypton on Wednesday, March 21 are in… and they’re good!

Repeats and streaming will help the show even more, but right now the initial numbers for Krypton’s premiere see it at 1.32 million viewers and a 0.4 in the Ages 18-49 demo. This even beat the finale of the highly-publicized American Crime Story: Versace over on FX, and it seems it was the highest-rated scripted cable drama for the night! Not bad.

You can catch repeats of the Krypton premiere on Syfy at the following times:

March 24, 2018 2:00AM
March 25, 2018 10:55PM
March 26, 2018 3:00AM

So, how did the Supergirl episode “Fort Rozz” do in the overnight ratings race?

The initial numbers are in and it looks as though the episode had an 0.5/2 in the Ages 18-49 demographic and 2.03 million viewers. Those ratings are a little bit down from the previous week’s episode “The Legion of Super-Heroes” but they still place Supergirl in the upper tier as far as ratings on The CW network go.
