2017 KryptonSite Awards: Pick The Best Episode Of Supergirl Season 2

Fans are invited to pick their favorite episode of Supergirl Season 2.

We had a little bit later of a start than past year, but it’s time again for the annual KryptonSite Awards – honoring the best and not-so-best of the recent Supergirl season.

As always, fans of any show have opinions. This is the chance for those fans to recognize the things they did (or didn’t) like this past year. Because of the late start, we may not have as many categories as before, but hopefully this can still be fun!

Some housekeeping… so there is no “confusion”…

- Votes are limited to ONE vote per IP. This means, there’s no way to “cheat” on this poll that we are aware of, and as such, the responses will be accurate.
- The polls will remain open until we’re done for the summer. We’re keeping all polls open throughout the process, until the time we make the final tally. Do know, though, if you already voted and are given another opportunity to vote later, only the first vote from your IP will be counted.
- Results will be posted before the start of Supergirl Season 2.
- Have fun! This is a way to point out the best aspects of Supergirl.

Our first category for this year is Best Episode – surely out of 22 episodes, you had a favorite! Come back in a few days for another category.

Best episode of the season not just sanvers centric but also Danvers sister centric and even showing how Maggie and Kara can work together to bring home the most important person in their live.

Really hard to choose between 2×15 (loads of action & phisical strength) due to Chyler being amazing as Alex tries to rescue the aliens and get her dad back and 2×19 (mental manipulation and strength) with Flo knocking it out of the park trying to rescue Alex but the Danvers sister moment when Kara struggles to save the ship in 2×15 makes it the winner for me.

Floriana Lima truly showed her passion for acting in all of S2, but in ALEX, they gave her the storyline to show her talent!

Luthors. Lena Luthor has been a bright spot in what has been a pretty poor season

I say the two part premeire The Adventures of Supergirl which introduced Superman with a great plot and not overshadowing his cousin on her own show. Plus Tyler did an excellent job of playing both Superman and Clark Kent showing how the character should be instead of Emo Supes from the Snyderverse.

Ever since 2002, KryptonSite has hosted the annual “KryptonSite Awards,” which for years honored the best and worst of the TV series Smallville. Starting last year, we began using the KryptonSite Awards to honor the best and worst of Supergirl. You can find last year’s results here.

Now, we’ve collated the results… who were the winners? Read and see — and if you want to see what Arrow fans thought of their most recent season, we just did the same thing at our Arrow portal, GreenArrowTV, too.

Sadly, as we got a late start this year there are fewer categories than usual… we’ll try to remedy that with next year’s Awards.

This is it. The last category of this year’s annual KryptonSite Awards – honoring the best and not-so-best of the recent Supergirl season.

Some housekeeping notes can be found here.

Our third category for this year is Best Pairing. Some of these are romantic, some of these you might want to be romantic, another might be a mentor/mentee relationship, some may be family relationships, and another might be a good old fashioned hero and sidekick. Whatever it is, you can pick your favorite… and if your favorite pairing is not listed, you can write one in.

Our third category for this year is Best Guest Star. If there’s a guest star you feel was overlooked that should have been included as a choice, there’s a write-in section. Series regulars (names in the opening titles) were already voted on — if you’d like to vote in that category, you can vote in previous categories here.
