A Clark & Lois Engagement Is Coming To Smallville!

E! Online has confirmed that the hints will pay off and a Clark and Lois engagement will come "within the next three episodes."

"It goes kind of where people are expecting it to go," Kelly Souders told E! "And it'll happen in the next three episodes."

Will this engagement scene outdo the dance at the end of "Homecoming?"

"That's hard to top," executive producer Brian Peterson admits. But Souders is hopeful. "We're trying. We're giving it the old Smallville try. It's a pretty romantic moment."

The producers won't confirm when the engagement will happen, aside from the whole "next three episodes" thing.
