Young April O’Neil Is Now Young Supergirl

THR posted as an exclusive this morning that Malina Weissman has landed the role of Young Kara in Supergirl, which confirms that we will indeed see flashbacks at a certain point.

Weissman played a younger version of Megan Fox’s April O’Neil in last year’s Ninja Turtles movie.

We’d expect that her scenes will involve the character interacting with Laura Benanti’s Alura.

Melissa Benoist plays Kara at an adult age in the CBS pilot.

Supergirl is, of course, currently filming!
