What Kind Of Superman Will Supergirl Bring To The Table?

What kind of Superman will Supergirl be bring us in Season 2?

“It’s Superman as I think he was intended to be,” Tyler Hoechlin said in a new interview in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, out today. “Which is just an incredible symbol of hope to kids that they can do anything, that they can be good people, and that good people can triumph over evil. You don’t have to be dark and brooding and always in this state of masculine toughness. He sits in that very hopeful and optimistic place that Kara tends to be in.”

You can read more quotes from Hoechlin, including the story of how fast he got the role, at EW.com.

And, of course, check out this great new photo below, courtesy of EW. Hopefully we’ll have more soon. Supergirl Season 2 premieres October 10 on The CW.
