We Love Her: Laura Benanti Nominated For A Tony Award

Tony Award nominations went out this morning, and a familiar face is among the nominees!

Laura Benanti has been nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in “She Loves Me.” Benanti has been nominated for this role before for other awards that will be given this year, and the Tony Award nomination is just the latest to reward her good work.

Benanti, of course, played Astra/Alura in Supergirl Season 1.

The 70th Tony Awards will be held on June 12, 2016 at the Beacon Theatre.
