Tom Welling Returns To TV

It may have taken a deal with the Devil to make it happen, but Tom Welling is returning to television after over six years away.

It was announced today that Smallville’s lead actor will be taking the role of police detective Marcus Pierce on Season 3 of the FOX television series Lucifer. The show returns for Season 3 on Monday, October 2 at 8PM… yes, at the same time slot as Supergirl over on The CW.

Did we mention that he’ll be a possible love interest for a character called Chloe? The best things in television life never change…
