The Supergirl Pilot Leaks Online

Normally we wouldn’t comment on something like this or bring attention to it, but since it is news, and everyone else seems to have covered it, we’re talking about it here on KryptonSite too.

In short: Like the Flash and Constantine pilots last year, the Supergirl pilot has apparently leaked online, in a high definition version.

No, we’re not going to tell you where to look for it, as KryptonSite does not condone illegal downloading. If you do decide to torrent it or obtain the pilot illegally, please be warned that the studios often have ways of finding out who downloads things, and there could be legal ramifications if you are caught. Those consequences go from something simple like losing your internet service and throttling to actual monetary fines. So, it’s probably best not to do it. Things also change between pilot “completion” in May – visual effects are tweaked, and sometimes there is even recasting or shuffling of scenes, or even new scenes are created for the show. In other words, what’s leaked out may not even be the final air version.

As far as we know, the CBS pilots hadn’t even gone out to press yet, which means [ideally] that the studio and CBS might be able to find out who leaked it. So far, it seems CBS and Warner Bros. Television have not commented on the leak.

We know what you’re thinking: It’d be fun to see the show early, right? But also think about this – although last year’s leak didn’t hurt The Flash, it is imperative that people watch Supergirl Mondays at 8PM on CBS starting in November. If people aren’t watching then, the show won’t last too long. So please think about that, AND the possible legal trouble you will run into, and wait if you can… easier said than done, for sure.

The cast and crew of Supergirl worked really hard to create a show that people will watch live in November. The best thing to do to reward their work would be to wait to watch it then. In any event, if you really want to see Supergirl now, and LEGALLY, you can always settle for the 6-minute trailer which shows a lot anyway.
