TalkVille Episode 7 Preview: The One Where Amy Adams Is “Craving” A Deer

Before she was Lois Lane, Amy Adams entered the world of Superman with the Smallville episode “Craving” in Season 1. It’s… not a fan favorite; in fact, it might have gotten Worst Episode in the 2002 KryptonSite Awards.

But hey, it’s been 21 years, and nostalgia is high, and we all need to be high to rewatch “Craving” guest starring Amy Adams. (Kidding about the being high; it’s actually not that bad. Or, at least there are some good things within.) But hey, even if we don’t want to rewatch, Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum do… and this is stop #7 on their TalkVille journey.

TalkVille Episode 7 is out tonight, and while they didn’t land Amy Adams as a surprise guest this week, they do talk about what working with her was like, and how she was fully committed to some very difficult scenes. They also talk about how shooting a high school-based episode around eating disorders was delicate at the time, some sketchy explosion scenes, confidence coming through in performances, and how a “piecing it all together” scene came together in a really awkward way.
