Superman & Lois SHOCKER: Major Role To Be Recast

The Kent family on Superman & Lois is going to look a bit different when the show returns for Season 3.

Deadline tonight is reporting that Jordan Elsass has departed the series and the role of Jonathan Kent will be recast for the show’s third season and beyond. According to the report, Elsass did not return to work by the deadline the cast was given to return to Vancouver for Season 3.

“Jordan Elsass has notified the Studio that he will not be returning to Superman & Lois for season three due to personal reasons. The role of Jonathan Kent will be recast,” Warner Bros. Television said tonight in a statement.

There has not been a statement from Jordan Elsass about the matter, though it is believed to be a personal matter. Season 3 of Superman & Lois is scheduled to premiere in 2023 on The CW. Any casting ideas? Post them in the Comments section below or Tweet us at @SupermanLoisTV!
