Superman & Lois Casting: Sofia Hasmik is “Chrissy Beppo”

Superman & Lois has added a Smallville Gazette reporter for the series!

EW has revealed that Sofia Hasmik (Mad About You, All The Bright Places) has landed the recurring guest star role of “Chrissy Beppo,” a reporter for the Smallville Gazette. (What, not the Ledger?)

The official description for the character reveals that Chrissy Beppo “has a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time,” but that she’s “a go-getter with dreams of bigger and better things, a chance encounter with her idol changes her life trajectory.”

Her idol is Lois Lane, right?

Funnily enough, “Christopher James Beppo” was a character created for the Smallville Ledger tie-in websites by Warner Bros. in the time of Smallville. The character would occasionally reveal “Ezra Small prophecies” that would give clues about upcoming episodes.
