Supergirl Season 2 Premiere Overnight Ratings Report

So how did the Supergirl Season 2 premiere “The Adventures of Supergirl” do in the overnight ratings?

Final numbers can and always do go up, especially once DVR and other factors are thrown in, but it’s looking like Supergirl had 1.1/3 in the Ages 18-49 demo – a huge increase for The CW’s usual Monday performance – and 3.02 million viewers.

In adults ages 18-34, it looks like Supergirl may have even slightly beaten Gotham; in Adults 18-49, they tied, though Gotham had a slightly higher number of total viewers. Things will surely be easier on Monday nights once The Big Bang Theory is back on Thursdays. Either way, The CW has got to be happy right now.
