Supergirl finally returns tonight (May 3) with a new episode directed by “Kara” herself, Melissa Benoist!
The return is called “Deus Lex Machina” and The CW has released a description and photos to promote it. They also have released two preview clips which you can find below the gallery! One of those clips features the characters’ confusion over a Lex Luthor situation, and the other is a really nice Kara and Lena interaction. Scroll down for all of that goodness. The show airs at 9PM (ET/PT) on The CW.

MELISSA BENOIST MAKES HER DIRECTORIAL DEBUT — Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) proceeds to lay an intricate plan to bring Lena (Katie McGrath) closer to him, defeat Leviathan’s latest attack, and pit Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team against Leviathan. It is also revealed how Lex came into power after Crisis. Melissa Benoist directed the episode with story by Lindsay Sturman and teleplay by Katie Rose Rogers & Brooke Pohl (#517).
