Tonight is a big night for Wonder Woman fans as Gal Gadot makes her first appearance as the legendary DC Comics heroine in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice… but that’s not the only exciting thing for Wonder Woman fans to hear today.
At a Q&A promoting Monday’s Supergirl episode guest starring The Flash, Supergirl Executive Producer Greg Berlanti revealed that they had the perfect role in mind for TV’s most famous former Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter…. but scheduling got in the way.
“We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter, and we couldn’t work out her schedule,” Berlanti lamented. “It’s the biggest disappointment for me through this entire season.”
They did reveal their choice for the perfect role if they do get Lynda Carter for an episode. “If we ever get to bring her back, she’s the female President of the United States,” he revealed.
So, scheduling gods, make this happen in the future!
Lynda Carter has dipped in the Super-TV pool before, appearing as Chloe Sullivan’s mother in the Smallville episode “Progeny.”
