Supergirl Gets Odette Annable For Season 3 Villain

Odette Annable will be playing the villain for Supergirl Season 3.

The actress, whose credits include Pure Genius, Astronauts Wives Club, Banshee, House, You Again, and Cloverfield will be joining Supergirl as a series regular in the role of “Reign”. Reign will be the big bad of Season 3, as part of an exciting interpretation of the infamous World Killer storyline from the pages of the DC Comics.

“Greg and I have wanted to work with Odette for years. We are beyond excited to have her join our cast in the scary, powerful and heartbreaking role of Reign,” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement.

Interestingly, Annable once starred opposite a former “Lex Luthor” with Michael Rosenbaum in Breaking In.

This also means that Supergirl will be fighting Reign, Black Lightning is facing The One Hundred…. is the Huntress returning to Arrow so Oliver can face the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend?

Supergirl Season 3 airs Mondays this Fall on The CW.
