Second Superman & Lois Director Revealed

While we know Lee Toland Krieger (Riverdale) directed the first episode of Superman & Lois, no word has come yet as to who might be coming after him… until now.

Vancouver production charts have revealed that the second director for the upcoming series which will star Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as Superman and Lois Lane alongside their Super-family will be a veteran of family dramas himself — Gregory Smith, who first rose to prominence as an actor from Everwood before becoming a prolific director in recent years, with a recent focus on the Arrowverse including major crossover episodes.

We say “second director” here, by the way, because we are unsure if Krieger directed one or two episodes to start the series, so we are erring on the side of caution until more official confirmation comes from the cast or the production. Gregory Smith is a great director so this is good news, no matter when it may happen!

Superman & Lois premieres Tuesday, February 23 on The CW.
