Roswell’s Jason Behr To Play Kryptonian In Supergirl Season 6

Twenty years ago, the original version of the TV series Roswell was canceled by The WB but took the leap to UPN for its third and ultimately final season. In its place was Smallville, a series that, when asked about the difference between Roswell and Smallville, Michael Rosenbaum was said to have said “Roswell didn’t have a bald guy.”

One of the showrunners of Roswell at the time did an interview where he seemed confident Roswell would beat Smallville in the ratings. Spoiler: It didn’t.

Now, via Deadline, comes news that Jason Behr, the star of the original Roswell, will be recurring in Supergirl Season 6 as “a famous or noted Kryptonian who plays a significant role helping Kara when she faces circumstances beyond her control.” No name for the character or further details have been revealed.

Behr isn’t the only alien to crash down (see what I did there?) in the new season of Supergirl.

Claude Knowlton (American Crime) will also be recurring as “a mild mannered alien whose tragic past allows him to help the Superfriends with their mission at hand.”

Supergirl Season 6 premieres March 30 on The CW. See some photos from the season premiere here!
