New Supergirl Season 3 Trailer! “Hero’s Journey”

As if photos promoting the Supergirl Season 3 premiere “Girl of Steel” weren’t enough… The CW today released a new trailer that they’ve dubbed “Hero’s Journey.”

Among other things it looks like we have our first hint as to when we will see Chris Wood’s Mon-El for the first time in Season 3 (it appears to be part of a dream sequence), we get some more wisdom from Cat, and there’s some really impressive imagery including a hover in the sky and an underwater scene within. And, yes, “Sanvers” makes an appearance! Needs more Lena, though.

The third season of Supergirl kicks off October 9 on The CW. You can see the new trailer below, and underneath that you can find the new promotional images if you missed them earlier! We’ll try and have some promo trailer screencaps up soon.
