Melissa Benoist Gets A Teen Choice Award

Supergirl lead actress and resident superheroine Melissa Benoist was honored with a Teen Choice Award during the FOX awards show on Sunday night.

Melissa was recognized as the Choice Action TV Actress, proving that at least on TV, you can’t beat Supergirl.

Supergirl wasn’t the only DC TV series honored in the show; Grant Gustin and his series The Flash were also honored.

Melissa Benoist attended the ceremony and you can see some pictures below, including some pairing Melissa with her “Duet” singing partner Grant Gustin. She’s also not the only major Supergirl figure to make an appearance last night; a bearded Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl’s Superman) appeared with his former Teen Wolf co-star Tyler Posey.
