Melissa Benoist & Chris Wood Welcome A Son, Huxley Robert

Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist and her husband Chris Wood have welcomed their first child together.

Melissa revealed on Instagram that Huxley Robert Wood is the name of their newborn son, who “got here a few weeks ago.”

“This little boy is everything,” Melissa wrote.

Huxley’s arrival comes a few weeks before the start of filming for Supergirl’s sixth and final season.

Melissa, of course, has been the star of Supergirl for its entire run; Chris Wood joined the cast of the series in Season 2 as Mon-El.
