Meghan Ory Auditioned For A Supergirl Role

Popular Once Upon A Time and Intelligence star Meghan Ory apparently auditioned for the role of Alex Danvers, Kara’s “sister,” in the CBS Supergirl project.

Here’s her audition video, for as long as it stays on Vimeo, at least. The video also might offer some spoilery hints at some dialogue from the Supergirl pilot. (Disclaimer: This is NOT our video, we’re just linking to it!)

Alex is described as Kara’s “gorgeous, brilliant, science-minded foster sister.” Growing up, Alex was partly jealous of her sibling yet also fascinated by her abilities, prompting Alex to learn as much as she could about alien anthropology, sociology and culture. Today, Alex works for a secret government organization and, alongside her heroic sis, will face many challenges, both mundane and super. (Character description via TVLine)

Interesting trivia: This wouldn’t be Ory’s first Super-role. She appeared in the Smallville episode “Hereafter” as Megan Calder.
