KryptonSite Is Auctioning A One-Of-A-Kind Smallville Item

Full disclosure from KryptonSite webmaster Craig Byrne: Running a website isn’t as profitable as it used to be, and sadly, that means auctioning off some things to keep the site network (and myself) afloat. Across the web major websites are even going under, and I really don’t want KryptonSite – started in 2001 – to be one of them.

So, over on eBay I have listed for sale something I won in one of John Glover (Lionel Luthor)’s Alzheimer’s auctions: Glover’s actual shooting script for the Smallville Season 2 episode “Prodigal.” This was a big Lionel episode, obviously. It’s not something I’d normally part with, but sometimes things have to happen.

You can see pictures of the script here, and within you’ll see Glover’s acting notes for scenes and how some lines were changed. You’ll also notice this is an earlier draft, with Paul Wasilewski/Paul Wesley’s character being referred to as “Lucas Pryor” at first.

The script is an interesting insight into John Glover’s approach to his Smallville character, and is truly one of its kind as it is the only “Prodigal” script used by the actor. As it was actually used, there is the wear of handling the pages.

Obviously, this is the only script exactly like this which would mean the winner of the auction, which ends today, would be getting a one-of-a-kind Smallville item. Any and all bids are appreciated… and if you’re looking for other Smallville items, I’ll be listing more.
