Krypton’s Cameron Cuffe In Crisis? “We Tried,” Guggenheim Says

With today’s big news that Tom Welling is coming back for Crisis on Infinite Earths, fans are wondering what big announcement is coming next.

Sadly, one of those announcements is not coming.

On Twitter, the Scene N Nerd Podcast asked Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim if Krypton’s Cameron Cuffe would be showing up in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Apparently, it is not meant to be.

“We tried,” Guggenheim Tweeted. “We couldn’t make the dates work.”

With Krypton ending abruptly thanks to Syfy’s cancellation, this might have been a chance to see what became of characters like Seg and Adam Strange, plus, it would surely have been a huge deal for longtime DC fan Cuffe.

Since Krypton involves time travel, surely someone can pull Cameron Cuffe from a different timeline so we can make the dates come together, yes? Until then, we’ll have our sad Seg-El pose. Thanks to Andy for the tip.

  • While I’m glad Tom and Erica are reuniting for Crisis; I’m not at all surprised that Krypton is cancelled. While I had no desire at all to see it I just know from what I heard and am not surprised if Guggie was part of it, especially with his writing on Arrow as of late. Utter garbage.
