Krypton’s “Adam Strange” Appeared In Smallville. In 2003.

Would you believe that Shaun Sipos who stars in Krypton first appeared in a Super-project 15 years ago?

It’s true!

In the Smallville episode “Rush” Chloe Sullivan was under the influence of a parasitic worm that made her misbehave, much like the actress who played her is currently going through in real life. She and Pete, who was also infected, go a bit wild after getting infected in the Kawatche caves. In one scene, Clark walks in on Chloe making out with a young man in the Torch offices… and Chloe rudely brushes him off after he delivers only one line.

IMDb lists Sipos’ character as simply “Chloe’s Boy Thing.” The episode aired on February 4, 2003 and was the 14th episode of Smallville Season 2.

Could his character have been Adam Strange, traveling back in time to save Superman’s younger self before realizing that, instead, he has to go 200 years to the past to save his grandfather and their home planet?

Probably not. But it’s still quite amusing to see.
