Krypton Season 1 Cast Photos Released

Syfy has now given a wide release to official cast photos promoting the first season of Syfy’s Krypton, including a few that we hadn’t seen last week!

The Syfy television series premieres March 21; a great new trailer focusing on the Superman legacy aired during the Super Bowl. The series is set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet Krypton and sees Cameron Cuffe as Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El.

In addition to Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El, the new cast photos also include Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange (he’s the guy wearing the present-day Earth clothing), Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod, Wallis Day as Nyssa Vex, and Ian McElhinney as Val-El. Since there are a few cast members unaccounted for, perhaps we’ll be seeing some more cast photos soon.

What if Superman never existed? Set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet, “Krypton” follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson. With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg finds himself in a difficult position. He must redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac (Blake Ritson) and Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos).
