Smallville alums might be pretty busy when the Fall comes.
Justin Hartley has landed the lead role in an ABC sitcom pilot called Damaged Goods. Here is how Deadline describes his character and the show:
It revolves around two damaged men and two damaged women who explore the minutiae of love and relationships. Hartley’s smart and egoistic Tim is hit hard when his girlfriend and law firm colleague gets the promotion he expected to get. Childish and unable to applaud her accomplishments or be with a woman who outranks him, the relationship seems all but over — unless she resigns.
He’s not the only one with a possible sitcom for the Fall.
Michael Rosenbaum has boarded the NBC sitcom pilot Mission Control alongside Don’t Trust The B’s Krysten Ritter. Rosenbaum plays “Bus,” who is described as “a handsome, jockish, stubborn and loudly likeable NASA astronaut.”
As we learned from things like Aquaman, pilots don’t always become series, but hopefully at least one of these programs will fly.
