Jenna Dewan Returns as Lucy Lane for Superman & Lois Season 2

Before we even saw Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane in the Arrowverse, Jenna Dewan played Lois’ sister Lucy Lane in the first season of Supergirl which aired on CBS. She was primed to take over the DEO — and then when the show came back on The CW, she had disappeared from the series. Well, those who were wondering whatever happened to her are in luck, as THR revealed today that Dewan will be back as Lucy in Superman & Lois Season 2!

THR notes that the role will be a recurring one, and since we’ve never seen this Lois and this Lucy doing scenes together, it should be a lot of fun. Lucy will have to get used to a new dad, too – Sam Lane was played by Glenn Morshower in Supergirl Season 1 and is Dylan Walsh here of Superman & Lois.

Superman & Lois Season 2 premieres in early 2022 on The CW.

  • Glad Jenna Dewan will reprise as Lucy Lane and makes sense considering the show is about family. It's time for Lois, Lucy, and General Sam to be together again. I also like to see Jenna's Lucy become Superwoman.

  • Glad that it's the original actress returning. She was solid in the role in Supergirl season 1, and it while further cement the fact that while Superman and Lois mostly does its own thing, it's still part of the larger Arrowverse.
