Is Cat Grant Coming Back In Supergirl Season 2?

When the news first came that Supergirl would be moving to The CW, the biggest question many seemed to have was “is Calista Flockhart staying as Cat Grant?” We did, of course, see her in the first two episodes of Season 2, but we haven’t seen her since — and she’s not currently on the schedule to come back, according to Michael Ausiello’s column this week at TV Line.

“Flockhart is not currently confirmed to appear in any additional Season 2 episodes, but there’s talk of a short-term comeback in the spring,” Ausiello wrote.

Thankfully, Supergirl Season 2 has had such great additions as Floriana Lima, Ian Gomez, Katie McGrath, Brenda Strong, and Chris Wood which has made the loss of Cat more bearable. Would you like to see Cat’s return? Leave some comments below and be sure to visit our Supergirl discussion forum!

  • Well, IIRC, Calista's availability for any future Supergirl this season will likely hinge on whether her hubby has some spare moments away from his work on Blade Runner 2049. The arrangement seems to be that somebody has to be home with family when the significant other is presently working.
