Data Entry: Brent Spiner Is Supergirl’s New VP

It would take someone with a lot of experience in being around Data to serve as Wonder Woman’s Vice President.

While no, it won’t be Debra Winger as the VP to Lynda Carter’s President Olivia Marsdin, Warner Bros. has announced that Brent Spiner, star of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Independence Day, Phenomenon and more, will be recurring in Supergirl Season 4 in the role of “Vice President Baker.”

Carter has implied on Twitter that she will be returning in Supergirl Season 4.

Spiner isn’t the first ST:TNG star to appear in a Superman TV project; both Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker) and Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar) appeared on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Here’s an official description for the character courtesy of the Supergirl production:

Adept and politically minded, Vice President Baker makes for an unlikely leader, but steps up in a big way when his country needs him most.

Supergirl moves to Sundays when the show returns October 14 on The CW.
