Chris Wood’s Mon-El Will Be Back In Supergirl Season 3; Plus, A Sanvers Wedding?

The special Comic-Con issue of TV Guide Magazine is now available, and within the issue there are several pages devoted to Supergirl – including some new scoops, one of which involves Chris Wood‘s character Mon-El’s fate in Season 3.

Will we see where the vortex took him?

“Where he went and how he returns is one of the central mysteries at the start of the system,” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg told the magazine. “The more astute comic book fans may have a semi-good guess as to where he went.”

The Phantom Zone and then to the future with the Legion of Super-Heroes, perhaps?

More details about Supergirl Season 3 — including, perhaps, a Legion announcement, will be coming on Saturday, July 22 at Comic-Con.

Also, how about a Sanvers wedding?

Kreisberg didn’t promise much, but he did assure that they have “an amazing, beautiful, modern, smart story for Alex and Maggie.” Hmmm…

Supergirl Season 3 begins October 9 on The CW.
