Brit Morgan Cast As Livewire For Supergirl

Variety revealed this morning that Brit Morgan (True Blood) will be playing DC Comics villain Livewire in the new CBS Supergirl series.

Here’s how her take on the character is described:

Morgan’s Leslie is a confident, abrasive and funny shock-jock who works for CatCo Media, the conglomerate owned by Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart). When an accident makes her as dangerous and shocking as her words, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must stop her.

Variety’s piece also confirms that the Red Tornado’s creator, T.O. Morrow, will be part of the storyline involving that character, and talks about a “classic approach” for General Sam Lane. You can read the entire Variety article that broke this news here.
