Bizarro Is Coming To Supergirl

Heroic Hollywood caught this before we did, so big props to them: Someone a little bizarre is coming to Supergirl!

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg mentioned in passing to Kevin Smith’s Fatman on Batman podcast that Bizarro is coming to the show.

No word yet on which version of Bizarro it will be, but considering there’s a Bizarro-Girl that exists, maybe that’ll be who it’ll be on the show.

Or, if it’s a guy Bizarro, Tom Welling am perfect for the role, right, since he’s known to love wearing the costume…

Stay tuned for more details when and if they become available. New episodes of Supergirl begin again on January 4.

  • Although Kreisberg wasn't gender specific in his little tease, it's most likely to be Bizarro-girl, since David Rapaport Casting had been looking to cast a Melissa Benoist lookalike for the show not too long ago.

  • Which Bizarro Supergirl would it be. There are at least two Bizarro versions of Supergirl. Bizarro-girl and Superiorgirl.

    • Bizarro-Girl, since this was the name that was half-dropped by Kreisberg, instead of the Landry Walker creation. However, how Bizarro-Girl will be depicted in the series will likely be up to Melissa herself, since she's probably playing both parts, with the showrunners using the lookalike for when two similar bodies need to be struggling together on screen.
