It looks like the Superman & Lois Season 3 lead villain — who is most likely going to be Bruno Mannheim following the hints that were left and the name that was dropped in last season’s finale — has been cast, and the person playing him has played a villain in the Arrowverse before. (Isn’t it convenient, now that they’re the same world there’s even less chance that could be weird!)
During David Ramsey‘s panel at DragonCon this weekend — Ramsey, of course, being the actor who has played John Diggle in addition to directing multiple episodes of Superman & Lois — the actor let slip that Chad L. Coleman would be playing a “lead villain” in S&L Season 3. This is interesting, as Coleman played Tobias Church in Arrow Season 5.
He’s not the first Arrow cast member to appear as a new character on Superman & Lois — Brendan Fletcher played “Stanley Dover” in Arrow Season 7 and then Thaddeus Killgrave in S&L Season 1…. and if you want to go even farther back, he was the Parasite on Smallville! In any event, Chad L. Coleman has not been officially confirmed by the network or studio yet, so we’ll keep you updated as soon as there might be a formal announcement.
