A Glee Reunion & A Familiar Face For Melissa Benoist Is Coming To Supergirl

Once upon a time, Melissa Benoist starred on a FOX television series called Glee as Marley Rose. You probably remember the show; it was quite popular.

One of Marley’s love interests was Ryder, played by Blake Jenner, and it turns out Melissa Benoist and Blake Jenner also had chemistry in real life… so much, in fact, that they were married earlier this year.

Now, TVLine is reporting that Jenner will be showing up on Supergirl as a possible new love interest for Kara Danvers. Here’s what they said:

Jenner will portray Adam Foster, a handsome stranger from Cat Grant’s (Calista Flockhart) past whose arrival in National City tests Kara and Cat’s relationship like never before. At the same time, Adam and Kara form a very unexpected connection.

TVLine says Jenner will appear in multiple episodes starting in 2016.

  • I've never wrote on here before so I'm not sure if anyone reads this. But I have a few thoughts I wanna talk about if anyone wants to listen they're strictly opinion. I posted this on another site and got DESTROYED. People hated the idea. Anyway, I like the new shows for what they are. Super girl is my FAVORITE superhero next to superman. I've only seen 2 episodes of the show though. Anyways, I watch flash and arrow (arrow hasn't been as good lately) but I'm a HUGE smallville fan so no movie or shows will ever fill that void. But, my idea was to have smallville/flash/arrow to crossover. Flash has the multiverse now. I doubt tom would want to but you have Chloe, Lois, green arrow, aquaman, etc. Imagine lex teaming up with zoom or vandal savage or grood, etc. I can't complain either way, smallville had a LONG rung and was very near and dear to me and ended greatly. But I thought that idea would be cool. Ratings would be huge! Could be a tv movie or minievent. They wouldn't have to do that story, but at least show Chloe. Could you imagine green arrow and arrow together!? They have tried to make arrow more comedic and that would be the perfect way. That would help the transition without making it to much. Have green arrow cracking more jokes and heckling arrow for being serious. So many ideas I have and so many could be done! Sorry for the long rant and I'm sorry if anyone disagrees or if I offended anyone. I'd love to hear from someone that would like that or would want to talk about smallville. I'm not gonna bash flash, arrow, or supergirl. They're good shows and I watch them all but I grew up on smallville and have always been a superman fan (90s mullet haha!). But thanks for all the work this site does. Would love to buy some merchandise with kryptonsite on it or if anyone knows where I can buy cheap smallville merch (shirts, toys, etc). And I have been trying to find the smallville comics but they're so spread out I cant keep up! Does anyone knows if they did any big omnibuses' or companions? I'm dying to own them but don't want to have to spend hundreds squaring all the trades and miniseries. Thanks guys.
